Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Interim Head of Data Strategy to lead our enterprise-wide data transformation agenda. This role requires a hands‑on, technically strong Enterprise Data Architect who can own and define the organisation's end‑to‑end data strategy during a major ERP transition from Microsoft Business Central to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O). The successful candidate will also design and implement robust global BI, data governance, and BI support frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and define the end‑to‑end data strategy for an ERP transformation from Business Central to Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Deliver a global BI reporting strategy and modernise analytics across the business.
  • Establish a robust data governance framework.
  • Create and embed an effective BI support and ticketing model.
  • Work hands‑on across data architecture, financial data, integrations, and Databricks‑driven solutions.

Requirements

  • Enterprise Data Architect background (must be willing to be hands‑on).
  • Strong Microsoft ecosystem experience (Dynamics 365, Azure, Power BI, Dataverse).
  • Proven experience with Databricks.
  • Track record delivering data strategy within large transformation programmes.
