Enterprise Risk Analyst

Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days in office)

Reporting to: Enterprise Risk Manager


A global private assets investment firm is looking to hire an Enterprise Risk Analyst to join its London-based Group Risk team.


This role sits within a small, high-impact Enterprise Risk function and offers broad exposure across private markets investments, operating businesses and external partnerships. It is well suited to an early-career risk or operations professional who wants to build a long-term career in enterprise and operational risk within an investment environment.


The position provides the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, supporting the identification, monitoring and reporting of risks that could impact investments, operations and strategic objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance and development of the firm’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework.
  • Assist with risk identification, assessment and monitoring across the organisation.
  • Maintain and update the risk register and key risk indicators (KRIs).
  • Contribute to quarterly risk reporting cycles, including preparing materials for risk committees and management reporting.
  • Support risk assessments relating to operational processes, external partnerships and third-party relationships.
  • Assist with the identification and monitoring of emerging and thematic risks, including geopolitical and market developments.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to strengthen risk awareness and control environments.
  • Support elements of operational resilience, business continuity and crisis management planning.


Candidate Profile:

  • 1–4 years’ experience in Operational risk within financial services
  • Interest in developing a career in enterprise risk or operational risk within financial services or investment management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational ability.
  • Confident communicator able to engage with stakeholders across the business.
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with data or reporting tools is beneficial but not essential.
  • Degree in finance, economics, business or a related discipline preferred, though the firm is open to different academic backgrounds.
