Key responsibilities include:Engaging with customers to understand their business and technology strategyLeading pre-sales architecture, qualifying opportunities and producing high-level design documentationActing as Design Authority for key accounts, ensuring solutions meet security, compliance, and business objectivesDesigning and implementing integrated, cross-domain solutions across:Microsoft 365 & Workplace solutionsNetworking and enterprise securityDatacentre and hybrid cloudCloud platforms & applicationsCollaborating with C-level executives, senior IT leaders, vendors, and partnersLeading or contributing to large-scale IT transformation programmesProviding technical governance and assurance across pre- and post-sales engagementsSupporting new proposition development with the Group Strategy & Portfolio teamStaying current with emerging technologies, vendor roadmaps, and market trendsWhat youll needWere looking for a consultative, senior architect with a strong record in enterprise architecture, IT transformation, and defence sector delivery. Youll need:Experience & LeadershipProven experience leading complex, multi-domain IT solutionsExperience in pre-sales and customer-facing consultancyDefence sector experience and knowledge of security and regulatory complianceAbility to lead C-level conversations and manage senior stakeholdersStrong track record of end-to-end deliveryTechnical Knowledge & SkillsMicrosoft client, server, and cloud architecture expertiseDeep understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure, IDAM, and security solutionsBroad experience across Networking, Security, Datacentre, Cloud, Applications, and AutomationExposure to tools such as: Cisco, Palo Alto, VMware, Nutanix, AWS, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Microsoft Power PlatformCertifications (desirable)Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF, Zachman, ITIL)Cloud (Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Architect)Microsoft 365, Azure, Identity & Security certificationsJBRP1_UKTJ
