A recruitment agency with over a decade of hands on experience is seeking an Environmental Advisor to support a Wisbech site in ensuring compliance with environmental and energy legislation, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 standards, and company sustainability goals.
As the Environmental Advisor you will:
Maintain and develop the site’s ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 management systems, ensuring ongoing compliance and readiness for certification/renewal audits. Monitor environmental and energy-related legislation, regulations, and company requirements, advising management on implications and required actions. Manage environmental monitoring programs including air quality, noise, wastewater, and soil sampling. Develop initiatives to reduce impact, including minimisation of waste, emissions, and use of hazardous substances. Monitor energy consumption and performance indicators, preparing regular reports for management review. Prepare and submit environmental and energy performance reports for internal stakeholders, regulators, and corporate sustainability teams. Deliver environmental and energy awareness training to employees and contractors.
We are looking for an Environmental Advisor with the following:
