Environmental Clerk of Works

Hours:
Monday to Friday , 7 am to 6 pm.
The role:
Promote best practice in environmental and sustainability matters in conjunction with the
wider function.
Carry out regular inspections of sites and workplaces to determine whether work is being
carried out in accordance with Company Policy, Procedures, and the relevant Statutory
Provisions
Assist with incident investigations in accordance with the Company procedure and,
analysing all data, making recommendations to avoid any reoccurrences.
Collate Business / Contract environmental and sustainability statistics in a timely manner
and submit to the Environmental Management & wider function for reporting purposes.
Review environmental information to identify trends and areas for improvement.
implement Environmental campaigns and improvement plans in agreement with the
environmental Management
Advise and support project teams with managing their environmental and sustainability
responsibilities.
Provide advice, support, and assistance to all project personnel to enable them to manage
their environmental responsibilities.
Assist the team to identify any environmental consents / permits or exemptions that are
required and ensure they are obtained.
Maintain records as necessary to ensure compliance with Legislation, Company procedures and Contract Requirements.
Protect sensitive habitats, watercourses, soils and species around Banniskirk.
Ensure compliance with planning conditions, SEPA requirements, and mitigation contained within the Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP).
Water environment protection
Ecological protection and supervision
Waste materials and pollution control
Non conformance reporting
