An exciting opportunity for an Environmental Sustainability Manager to drive meaningful environmental progress across a high-performing, fast-paced supply chain.
Role Overview
This is a UK-based role focused on supporting group-wide sustainability initiatives, working across internal teams and external partners to drive measurable environmental outcomes.
Taking ownership of key environmental reporting areas, including emissions, packaging, and food waste, while supporting the delivery of Net Zero goals and supplier engagement. The role offers scope to influence both operational practices and external supply chain behaviours.
Environmental Sustainability Manager Key Responsibilities
Drive the implementation of the Group Sustainability Strategy and Environmental Policy
Lead environmental reporting on GHG emissions, packaging, food waste, and Net Zero progress
Prepare accurate, data-led reports for internal and customer stakeholders
Coordinate food waste and redistribution initiatives, including WRAP/Champions 12.3
Support suppliers and retailers in developing environmental transition plans
Monitor sustainability legislation and share key insights across teams
Promote sustainable agriculture practices through supplier engagementEnvironmental Sustainability Manager Key Requirements
We are looking for someone passionate about sustainability, confident with data, and capable of translating strategy into meaningful action.
A degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related subject
Experience analysing environmental data and delivering improvement plans
Proficiency in Excel and Power BI; comfortable managing large data sets
Strong understanding of food sector sustainability, ideally within fresh produce or short shelf-life supply chains
Able to work independently and cross-functionally with internal teams and customers
Great attention to detail and confidence managing multiple projectsThis is a fantastic opportunity for a committed sustainability professional to take on a high-impact role within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
