ERP Consultant – Epicor – CONTRACT (Outside IR35)

Location: Manchester / Hybrid

Contract Type: Outside IR35

Rate: £500 day rate

Overview

This company are seeking an experienced contractor to lead and deliver key ERP and business application projects, with a primary focus on the organisation’s Epicor ERP platform.

You will be responsible for managing and delivering system upgrades, integrations, process improvements, and optimisation initiatives, working closely with stakeholders and third-party partners. This role is outcome-driven and suited to a self-sufficient, delivery-focused professional.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and deliver Epicor ERP projects, including upgrades, integrations, and system enhancements. Own project scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables. Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Manage vendor and implementation partner relationships. Drive process improvement and system optimisation. Provide high-level support and technical guidance for ERP and business applications. Support Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure where required. Produce clear documentation and handover materials.

Key Skills & Experience

Essential

Proven experience delivering Epicor ERP projects in a commercial environment. Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills. Hands-on experience with ERP upgrades, implementations, and integrations. Ability to work independently and deliver to agreed milestones.

Desirable

Experience with Power BI, cloud platforms, and automation tools. ERP, Agile, or Prince2 certifications.
