ESOL Lecturer Annual Salary: £33,762 - £44,027 Hourly Rate: £26.01 - £33.00 Location: South East London Job Type: Full-time or Part-time We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and flexible ESOL Lecturer with excellent interpersonal skills to teach a range of ESOL courses from pre-entry to Level 2. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong background in teaching ESOL to adults, as well as unaccompanied asylum seekers and refugees aged 16-18. The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing an excellent learning experience, ensuring each learner develops the necessary skills for their future. Day-to-day of the role: Teach ESOL courses to adults and young learners from pre-entry to Level 2. Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of learners with diverse backgrounds and abilities. Stay informed about current and future curriculum developments in ESOL education. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience. Participate in curriculum development meetings and contribute to the enhancement of course offerings. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of CELTA and/or a full teaching qualification. Relevant degree or higher level qualification in a related field. Proven experience in teaching ESOL to adults and young learners. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of motivating and inspiring learners. Exceptional organisational skills, combined with proficient IT knowledge and sound administrative abilities. Clear understanding of current and future curriculum developments within ESOL education.
