Estimator - Commercial Soft Flooring & Ceramic Tiling

The role is to provide competitive and accurate estimates / quotations for commercial soft flooring projects, and ideally ceramic tiling to our ever increasing client base. The ideal candidate would have some experience within the construction industry, and the flooring and/or ceramic tiling industry. A good knowledge of commercial contracts and job cost analysis and sales would also be preferable. You would be working as part of an experienced team as a 'Specialist Contractor' in pursuit of further new clients and projects. The package offered is negotiable subject to experience. *Responsibilities*· Your core responsibility will be to support and manage tender processes by preparing your own take-offs using site drawings and specifications to ensure timely and well-prepared tender applications. · Negotiate deals, secure contracts and build customer relationships to encourage repeat business. · Help identify innovative ways to optimize costs without compromising quality by value engineering, where possible. · Visit sites, measure work and check progress as and when required. · Follow up on previously submitted enquiries. · Be a vital link between colleagues, main contractors and the operations team – ensuring a smooth, successful project execution. · Provide a quality project delivery. xbpsjku Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £38-40k per year Additional pay: * Bonus scheme Benefits: * Company pension
