They're now looking to strengthen their estimating team by hiring a Groundwork Estimator to join their Chorley office, supporting residential projects across the region. The Role As an Estimator, you'll be part of a stable and experienced commercial team, pricing works for major residential development projects. You’ll join a department with four other Estimators and a wider commercial function that includes Quantity Surveyors. You’ll be based from the Chorley office, with site visits to just take a nosey at the work you've estimated. Project scope includes: * Deep drainage and sewer * Section 278 and 38 works * Groundworks for 200+ unit sites * Retaining walls etc Requirements: * Estimating experience in groundworks or civil engineering * Skilled in Excel * Experience with Bluebeam, Causeway, or Conquest (or willingness to learn) * Able to produce accurate take-offs and interpret technical drawings * Comfortable working independently and within a team * Full UK driving licence If this sounds like a role for you.
