With a strong footprint across the region, this company has been delivering exceptional construction projects for decades. Their portfolio spans education, commercial, healthcare and public sector.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable and forward-thinking contractor with a track record of success, thanks to their commitment to quality and customer service. \n\n The Role:\n\n As Estimator, you will play a key part in the pre-construction team, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and the wider commercial team to secure and deliver competitively priced, accurately scoped tenders.\n\n Responsibilities include:\n\nReviewing tender opportunities with the commercial team\nAttending site visits during tender stage\nPreparing and sending enquiries to the supply chain\nRaising RFIs and ensuring timely responses\nAssessing tender documentation for accuracy and completeness\nEvaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations\nPreparing comprehensive cost submissions\nIdentifying and managing project risk at bid stage\nProviding clear and accurate handover documentation to delivery teams\nMonitoring cost alignment during project mobilisation\nThe Ideal Candidate:\n\nPrevious estimating experience in a construction\nFamiliarity with two-stage tendering processes\nStrong analytical and numerical skills\nExcellent communication and negotiation abilities\nIT-literate\nAble to work both independently and collaboratively\nFull driving licence essential; DBS clearance may be required\nIf you’re an experienced estimator looking for a longevity with a supportive, locally based contractor working on a wide range of projects, we want to hear from you.\n\n For a confidential conversation, contact Nicky Harris at RGB Recruitment, Exeter
