Our client is looking for a skilled and motivated Fire Estimator to join their growing team. This role offers the chance to work on a wide range of commercial and industrial projects, providing accurate and competitive estimates for fireproofing and related construction work.
Key Responsibilities:
Review project plans, specifications, and tender documents to prepare detailed cost estimates for fire protection systems.
Conduct quantity take-offs, cost analyses, and pricing evaluations for labor, materials, and subcontractor services.
Collaborate closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure estimates are accurate, competitive, and aligned with project requirements.
Identify risks, opportunities, and potential cost-saving measures within projects.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, codes, and fire protection materials and systems.
Prepare reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and internal teams.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Fire Estimator or similar role within construction or fireproofing industries.
Strong understanding of fireproofing systems, materials, installation methods, and relevant regulations.
Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
