Commercial and Industrial Portsmouth Salary up to £80,000 + Car Allowance + 25 Days Holiday + Pension Blaymires Recruitment is representing a specialist commercial roofing contractor based near Portsmouth who is searching for an experienced Estimator to join the business The company is aleading specialist in commercial and industrial roofing and envelope services, undertaking projectsranging from £50K to £1.5M. This is a great opportunity for anEstimatororEstimator/Surveyorto join a steadily growing and stable business. As a Roofing Estimator, you will be responsible for pricing roof tendersand promotinga high-quality range of various roofing contract services. Key Responsibilities of the Roofing Estimator : Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to understand project requirements. Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and prepare accurate cost estimates. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes. Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options. Prepare and submit comprehensive bid proposals in a timely manner. Maintain a database of historical cost data for future reference. Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and provide regular reports to management. Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as required.

Requirements of the Roofing Estimator : Proven experience in pricing Roofing projects. Strong knowledge of roofing materials, methods, and techniques. Proficient in using estimating software and tools. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
