Reporting Divisional Director About the Role We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Estimator / Surveyor to join our growing team, specializing in the supply and installation of acoustic glazed partitions. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for submission to main contractors and fit-out contractors. You will work closely with the Divisional Director, Sales Manager, and Project Manager to ensure projects are costed accurately, risks are mitigated, and profitability is maximized. Post-tender, you will play a key role in the handover process, assist in contract administration, including valuations, variations, and the preparation of final accounts, while tracking project profitability.

Package Includes Salary: £35,000 – £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Travel Expenses Covered Comprehensive Benefits Package Opportunities for career progression and professional development Key Responsibilities Estimating Review incoming enquiries and documentation; log and track using Hubspot and Smartsheet. Liaise with internal estimating team for joint bid opportunities. Perform electronic take-offs using BlueBeam or On Screen Take Off. Raise RFIs to clarify discrepancies with contractors and document confirmations. Distribute enquiries to supply chain and obtain quotations. Identify project-specific product requirements, lead times, and cost implications. Assess project timelines and advise on fit with current workload.

Coordinate with Design Manager to obtain project-specific drawings and samples. Prepare detailed cost estimates using Excel and present margin review summaries to the Director. Submit tenders with clarifications; update Smartsheet tracker accordingly. Set follow-up actions in Hubspot in collaboration with Sales Manager. Assist with thorough handover of secured projects to Project Manager, ensuring accurate documentation. Surveying / Contract Administration Prepare rolling accounts and manage variations on live projects. Submit monthly applications for payment with support from the finance team. Conduct quarterly reviews of supplier rates with Director to maintain competitive pricing. Candidate Profile We are looking for a well-organized, motivated individual with a strong commercial mindset and excellent communication skills. You should be able to work independently or collaboratively and thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment. Essential Skills & Attributes Experience in estimating and/or surveying within the construction or fit-out sector.

Strong numeracy and analytical skills. Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and CRM systems (Hubspot advantageous). Experience with BlueBeam or On Screen Take Off . Excellent written and verbal communication. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks. Team player with a professional and approachable demeanor.
