Job Title: Estimator – Construction

Location: East London (Hybrid: 4 days on-site/head office, 1 day from home)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join a well-established construction company in East London. The role offers a blend of office, site, and remote work, providing flexibility while staying closely connected to ongoing projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a Tier 1 background looking to take the next step in their estimating career.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial and residential construction projects.

Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine project scope and requirements.

Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to obtain accurate pricing information.

Contribute to bid strategies, value engineering, and cost-saving initiatives.

Support project teams with cost analysis, reporting, and risk management.

Attend site visits and meetings as required to fully understand project requirements.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Construction Estimator, ideally with a Tier 1 main contractor.

Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and costs.

Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office.

Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
