Job Title: Estimator – Water (Frameworks & Projects) Location: Leicester (Hybrid Working) Sector: Water / Civil Engineering / Infrastructure Job Type: Permanent
Overview We are currently recruiting for an Estimator to join a well-established organisation operating within the water and infrastructure sector. This role will focus on both framework agreements and bespoke project tenders, offering a varied and fast-paced workload.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and is confident producing accurate and competitive tenders across multiple project types.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare cost estimates and tender submissions for water sector projects
* Work across framework agreements and bespoke project opportunities
* Review and interpret technical documentation, drawings, and specifications
* Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather pricing
* Ensure tenders are completed accurately and submitted within required timeframes
* Identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives
* Support continuous improvement of estimating processes
Requirements
* Proven experience as an Estimator within the water, civil engineering, or infrastructure sectors
* Experience working on frameworks and/or project-based tenders
* Strong understanding of pricing, cost planning, and tendering processes
* Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet tight deadlines
* Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
