The company prides itself on maintaining high standards, and due to their continued success, they are expanding their team and are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join them as an Estimator.
Job Title: Estimator
Salary: Up to £35,000
Role and Responsibilities:
The Estimator reports directly to the Commercial Manager, supporting Account Executives, Customer Service Representatives and External Sales teams, satisfying customer pricing requirements in an efficient and professional manner.
Working as part of a small estimating team, the Estimator responsibilities are:
Process enquiries from Account Executives, Customer Service Representatives and External Sales using software systems in place, in a timely manner, considering:
Profiles
Quantities
Sheet laydown
Material suitability and costs
Print requirements
Finishing requirements (amending machine speeds where relevant)
Outwork and associated costs
Origination
Delivery / stock holding requirements
Seek value optimisation to ensure maximum profitability of every enquiry
Set margins in line with business goals and any previous history, as well as liaising with key stakeholders
Type quotation letters in a clear and concise manner, ensuring all relevant information is documented to the customer
Present quotation letters to key stakeholders explaining approach to costings in a clear and concise manner
Any additional duties requested by Management
