Events Manager (Part-Time, Maternity Cover) - 75k pro-rata - I year FTC


West End, London | 3 days/week | ⏳ 12-month FTC | £40–45k FTE


VC / start-up background preferred


A fast-growing VC firm is looking for an experienced Events Manager to own and deliver a high-profile events programme across the VC and start-up ecosystem.


You’ll lead end-to-end delivery of investor events, portfolio showcases, conferences, and community gatherings—keeping everything running seamlessly during maternity cover.


What you’ll do

  • Own the full events calendar from concept to execution
  • Manage budgets, venues, suppliers, and on-site delivery
  • Deliver standout experiences and track post-event impact
  • Build strong relationships with investors, founders, and partners


What we’re looking for

  • Proven events experience (VC, finance, tech, or start-ups ideal)
  • Strong project & stakeholder management skills
  • Confident juggling multiple events in fast-paced environments
  • Creative, organised, and detail-driven
