These roles are based full time at theQualifications ScotlandCentre in Dalkeith and offer a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, with full training and ongoing support provided.
Shift Patterns Available Monday to Sunday (5 days out of 7)
- 8:00am 4:00pm
- 9.00am 5:00pm
- 1:00pm 9:00pm
The Role
As anEvents Delivery Coordinator,youllplay a vital role in delivering a high-quality service toQualifications Scotlandcustomers.You willjoin our Events Delivery team, providing exceptional customer service and operational support to ensure the smooth execution of procedural meetings. This role requires flexibility, with early mornings, evenings, and weekend work expected.
Key responsibilities include preparing and transporting examination and confidential materials to venues across the central belt, setting up event spaces, and supporting on-site delivery. The role also involves handling and moving large volumes of equipment and event materials, some of which may be heavy. You will play a vital role in ensuring all equipment and resources are prepared and available to enable the successful delivery of events.
WhatYoullBe Doing
- Provide delivery support to ensure activities are carried out accurately and according to plan and to ensure compliance with documented processes.
- Transportation of confidential materials to and from events
- Ensure adequate provision of equipment is prepared to enable successful delivery of events.
- Set up and take down of event spaces.
- Meet and greet those running/attending the event
- Focus on meeting tight timescales.
- Working in a fast-paced service environment the successful candidates will take ownership for effectively solving customer queries, keeping customer satisfaction at the core of every decision and behaviour.
- Carry out filing of information to ensure it is stored accurately following relevant policies and procedures.
- Providehigh levelsof customer service in respect to queries ensuring responses are issued promptly, accurately and followingQualifications Scotlandguidelines whilemaintainingkey stakeholder relationships.
- Communicate with internal and external customers face to face whereappropriate withintight timescales.

WhatWereLooking For
- Full & clean valid UK Manual driving licencerequired
- Experience in event delivery and coordination, both front of house and administration, is desirable but not essential
- Manage multiple tasks while prioritising, according to schedule
- Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Flexible working approach and ability to work on own as well as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- Be able to understand written and verbal communications
- Good attention to detail
- Good, general administrative skills
- IT literate with proficient and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
