St David Recruitment is seeking a reliable and organised Exam Assistant to support our client’s educational team. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and secure delivery of examinations, maintaining a professional testing environment, and supporting candidates throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare examination rooms, ensuring all materials and equipment are set up correctly

* Welcome candidates, verify identification, and clearly explain exam procedures

* Supervise exam sessions to maintain a secure, quiet, and compliant environment

* Respond to candidate queries professionally and appropriately

* Distribute, collect, and securely handle all exam materials

* Assist with administration, candidate registration and maintain accurate attendance records

* Support the delivery of examinations in line with established regulations and procedures

* Ensure strict adherence to confidentiality and exam board requirements

* Report any irregularities or incidents to supervisory staff

* Maintain organised and accurate documentation of exam sessions

Requirements

* Previous experience within the educating education (essential)

* Valid DBS check (essential)

* Strong administration, organisational and time management skills

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse candidates

* Ability to remain calm, attentive, and professional under pressure

* High level of accuracy and attention to detail

* Understanding of exam procedures and compliance standards (desirable)
