A1 Jobs have an immediate requirement for an Excavator Operator for an ongoing City Centre project.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate excavators to move earth, gravel, sand, rock, and other materials.

* Load and unload materials safely onto trucks or designated areas.

* Perform trenching, grading, and excavation tasks according to project specifications.

* Inspect and maintain the excavator, including checking fluid levels, brakes, and other mechanical components.

* Follow site plans, blueprints, and instructions from supervisors.

* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

* Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.

* Collaborate with ground workers, truck drivers, and other site staff to ensure smooth operations.

* Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours operated.

* Maintain a clean and safe working environment around the equipment.

Skills and Qualifications:

* Valid excavator operator license or certification.

* Proven experience operating excavators or similar heavy equipment.

* Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.

* Good communication and teamwork skills.
