Your new role

As Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive, you will provide high level administrative, organisational, and operational support. This is a busy and varied role requiring exceptional attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to manage competing priorities. Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering comprehensive administrative support to the Chief Executive Managing an extensive and fast paced diary, organising meetings, Teams calls, travel, accommodation, and site visits Preparing documents, reports, agendas, presentations, and board materials Providing accurate minute taking for meetings, including Executive Board and project‑related sessions Supporting the wider Executive Team and Operations Directors with administrative tasks, compliance documentation, and periods of high workload Coordinating special events, conferences, away days, and meetings across the UK Completing data entry, raising purchase orders, maintaining organised electronic and physical filing systems (GDPR compliant) Acting as a key point of contact for internal communications and distributing information on behalf of the CEO Ensuring all duties are carried out in line with organisational values, safeguarding requirements, and professional standardsThis role suits someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys variety, and is motivated by supporting senior leaders in achieving operational excellence.

What you'll need to succeed

To excel in this role, you should bring:

Demonstrable experience as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant supporting senior leaders Experience working within a complex, multi site organisation - ideally within education, care, health, or regulated sectors Strong literacy, numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail (GCSE English & Maths required) Excellent command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and the ability to learn new systems Confident minute taking, fast and accurate typing, and the ability to produce high‑quality documents Outstanding organisational skills, ability to self-manage, and confidence handling multiple priorities Professional communication skills with a strong customer-service approach A high level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality Willingness to travel occasionally to meetings or events An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)If you're proactive, reliable, calm under pressure and enjoy being the trusted support to a busy executive team, this role will suit you perfectly.
