Executive Chef – British Cuisine
Salary: £80-85k per annum
Location: West London
Are you a visionary Head Chef/Executive Chef with a passion for British cuisine and experience in high-volume, high-quality culinary operations? We are seeking a dynamic and skilled chef to lead a kitchen dedicated to delivering exceptional menus at scale.
About the Role
As Executive Chef, you will take charge of menu development, kitchen operations, and team leadership, ensuring that every dish reflects culinary excellence and adheres to the highest standards. This role requires expertise in British cuisine, experience in large-scale food production, and a deep understanding of premium ingredient sourcing, cost control, and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Menu Development: Design and refine high-end British cuisine menus that cater to diverse clientele.
- Kitchen Leadership: Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and high-volume production.
- Quality & Innovation: Implement Michelin-level techniques to enhance the dining experience while maintaining cost-effective operations.
- Compliance & Safety: Uphold strict food hygiene and safety regulations, conducting regular audits.
- Team Management: Train and develop a high-performing culinary team, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Financial Management: Control food costs, minimize waste, and optimize ingredient sourcing.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef/Executive Chef in high-end kitchens, preferably with Michelin-star exposure.
- Deep expertise in British cuisine, with a flair for innovation and premium ingredient use.
- Strong leadership, training, and organizational skills to manage a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
- Experience in large-scale production, ideally in airline catering, event catering, or hospitality.
- Financial acumen, with experience in menu costing, budget management, and waste control.
- Proficiency in food safety regulations and compliance standards.
