Job: Executive Search Consultant (Waste Management and Environmental Services)\n Location: Central Leeds (Hybrid)\n Salary: £38,000 - £60,000 + OTE bonus + benefits (depending on experience)\n\nAbout Newman Stewart\n\nNewman Stewart is a mandate driven executive search firm trusted by leading organisations to deliver confidential and business critical recruitment assignments across the UK and internationally. Renowned for our rigorous research, transparent processes and commitment to exceptional outcomes, we partner with clients to secure high performing talent for senior and specialist roles.\n\nWe are now looking to appoint an ambitious and motivated Executive Search Consultant to strengthen and expand our work within Waste Management and Environmental Services.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs an Executive Search Consultant you will be responsible for winning and delivering senior level retained search assignments across waste management, recycling, resource recovery and environmental services. You will work with organisations focused on sustainability, regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.\n\nThis role suits someone who can understand technical and environmentally driven markets, engage senior stakeholders confidently and deliver structured, insight led search processes.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nWin, retain and deliver senior level retained search assignments across waste management, recycling, resource recovery and environmental services.\nBuild relationships with operators, treatment facilities, environmental service providers and organisations focused on sustainability.\nPrepare clear assignment briefs and manage structured, transparent search processes.\nConduct detailed market research, talent mapping and targeted sourcing activity.\nEngage directly with senior operational, technical and commercial candidates.\nProduce clear and well structured shortlist reports and provide timely client updates.\nManage interviews, feedback, candidate preparation and offer negotiation.\nContribute to business development activity and support commercial growth across sustainability driven markets.\nOperate in a way that reflects our commitment to quality, professionalism and long term partnership building.\n\nAbout You\n\nYou will be an ambitious and high performing professional with experience in executive search or consultative commercial environments.
