SEMH Teaching Assistant Engage Education are looking for a caring and dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant in Wakefield This position is at a primary school in Wakefield providing excellent teaching for young children aged 4 to 11, who have a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school offers a variety of enriching educational opportunities for pupils and you will connect directly with young people, guiding them to get the very best from their education. This role is a full-time position (Monday to Friday) which would become permanent after a 12 week probationary period. The school are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. Working 1:1 or with a small group of children to support their teaching and learning. Be able to adapt to the needs of the child in lessons and assist them in their school day A dedication to the safeguarding of young people. To have worked with people with a range of needs (experience with young people with SEND desirable). A dedication to enhancing young people s learning.
