We're working with Medway Council to recruit an Experienced Social Worker to join their Children in Care (CiC) Teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a service focused on permanency, stability, and building meaningful relationships with looked after children.

Up to £45,829 salary
£5,500 market premia
£3,000 annual retention payment after 1 year's service
Hybrid working model (minimum 2 days a week in the office)
Opportunity to complete Practice Educator training
Robust supervision and commitment to CPD
About the Role: You'll manage a caseload of looked after children, working within a supportive team using the Signs of Safety model. You'll undertake direct work with children and young people to understand their lived experiences, ensure plans remain relevant, and deliver high-quality life-story work. You'll attend reviews, permanency planning meetings, and manage care proceedings where necessary.
About You:
Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
Completed ASYE and at least 2 years' post-qualified experience
