Export Planning & Dispatch Clerk

Location: Dartford
Hours: Monday-Friday, 13:00-22:00
Rate : £27,539.20-£30k depending on experience
Contract: Permanent

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Export Planning & Dispatch Clerk to support the smooth and cost-effective running of our expanding client specialising in European export operations; on a permanent basis.

You will play a key role in ensuring shipments are planned, processed, and dispatched efficiently while delivering a high standard of customer service and maintaining compliance with customs and network requirements.

Key Responsibilities
· Process delivery notes, collection orders (part/full loads), and EDI data
· Plan and route consignments to maximise trailer utilisation
· Prepare and dispatch export trailers and trunk vehicles
· Manage customs documentation, including Brexit-related administration
· Carry out dangerous goods compatibility checks
· Monitor customer compliance with export documentation
· Liaise with internal teams and UK/European branches to ensure smooth operations

About You
· At least 2 years' experience in European road freight
· Strong knowledge of European geography
· Good commercial awareness and IT skills
· Highly organised with strong attention to detail
· Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
· Customs knowledge (desirable)
