EXTRUSION TEAM LEADER CMB Recruitment is working with a leading North Down manufacturing company, seeking an Extrusion Team Leader to join their team and ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Department. This is a full-time permanent role, a 48-hour, 4 day week Monday Thursday, on a fortnightly rotating shift basis (Days 7.30am- 7.30pm- Nights 7.30pm- 7.30am). THE ROLE To support the Production Supervisor in ensuring the Department runs efficiently, making best use of all available resources Lead by example in motivating the team to perform to the best of their abilities To maintain quality standards in accordance with customer expectations and relevant quality standards To identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions To assist in the development and training of extrusion operators To assist in daily production planning/scheduling of production activities To carry out external training as and when required THE PERSON At least 2 years team leader experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Experience in managing a team of Production Operators Experience/skill in creating and managing production schedules to ensure customer orders are met on time Computer literate particularly Excel and ERP system Strong organisational and communication skills Strong problem-solving skills Ability to meet tight production deadlines Lean manufacturing qualification helpful but not essential SALARY Our client is offering a strong salary and benefits package to attract high quality candidates, including shift bonus.
