Job Title: EYES Data Quality OfficerContract Type: Contract (Outside IR35)Location: RemoteStart Date: ASAPContract Duration: Until 30/09/2026 (with likelihood of extension)The EYES Data Quality Officer will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the quality, accuracy, and integrity of data within the EYES system. This position focuses on identifying, investigating, and resolving data quality issues to ensure the system remains reliable for both operational and reporting purposes.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and improve overall data quality within the EYES (Early Years Entitlement) systemIdentify and resolve data issues, including:Duplicate recordsInconsistent or conflicting informationMissing or incomplete dataSupport and maintain the EDI Dashboard, including processing and validating data feeds from schoolsMatch incoming pupil data against existing records, creating new records where requiredPerform reconciliation activities to identify discrepancies between school data and EYES system recordsInvestigate and resolve:Enrolment conflictsSuspension and exclusion discrepanciesEnsure data corrections are applied accurately and consistentlyCollaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve data quality issuesProvide guidance to teams on data standards, processes, and corrective actionsKey RequirementsEssential:Proven experience working as a Data Quality Officer (or similar role)Experience working on an EYES (Early Years Entitlement) project or another early years/education-related projectStrong experience in data validation, cleansing, and reconciliationAbility to investigate and resolve complex data issuesExcellent attention to detail and analytical skillsStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skillsDesirable:Experience working with education data systems or local authority datasetsFamiliarity with data governance and data quality frameworksAdditional InformationOutside IR35 contractFully remote roleLong-term opportunity with strong likelihood of extensionJBRP1_UKTJ
