EYFS Class Teacher – Thornton-Cleveleys
Humly is recruiting an EYFS Class Teacher to join a primary school on a temporary basis.
This is a full-time role starting 13 April 2026 and continuing until 17 July 2026, covering the full summer term. This role would suit a confident and engaging Early Years teacher who can deliver high-quality, play-based learning within a nurturing and inclusive environment, while maintaining clear routines and high expectations.
What You’ll Be Doing
*
Planning and delivering engaging, play-based lessons in line with the EYFS framework
*
Creating a stimulating and well-organised Early Years learning environment
*
Assessing and tracking pupil progress in line with EYFS expectations
*
Supporting children’s personal, social and emotional development
*
Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider staff
*
Maintaining positive relationships with parents and carers
What You’ll Bring
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
Experience teaching within EYFS
*
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and early development milestones
*
Confidence in managing a full class and establishing clear routines
*
A nurturing, patient and inclusive teaching approach
*
A clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities within schools
Pay
Non-AWR: £120 – £140 per day
AWR (from week 13): £168.80 – £232.57 per day (M1 – M6)

Enhanced DBS required (If required, Humly can support with an Enhanced DBS at a cost to the educator)
