EYFS Teaching AssistantLocation: Southwark, South East LondonStart Date: Easter 2026Pay: £95 - £115 per day

Veritas Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Southwark to recruit an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant for an Easter 2026 start.

This OFSTED-rated 'Good' school is known for its supportive ethos and strong focus on both academic progress and pupil wellbeing. The successful candidate will work within the Early Years Foundation Stage, supporting children with a range of additional needs to access learning through play-based activities, structured classroom support, and targeted interventions.

This role would suit a patient, proactive, and caring individual with a genuine passion for early childhood development and supporting young learners with SEND.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience supporting children in an EYFS or primary school setting (essential)
• Experience working with SEND, such as ASD, speech and language needs, SEMH, or developmental delay
• A good understanding of early years development and the EYFS framework
• A calm, nurturing, and resilient approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to pupils with additional needs within the EYFS classroom
• Work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support and interventions
• Support children's social, emotional, and communication development
• Deliver small group and targeted learning sessions
