Humly is recruiting caring, enthusiastic and reliable EYFS Teaching Assistants to support children across Nursery and Reception settings. These roles are available on an ad-hoc, short-term and long-term basis throughout the academic year, offering flexibility and a variety of Early Years classroom experiences.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with young children, have a nurturing approach, and are passionate about supporting early learning and development.
What You’ll Be Doing
*
Supporting children in Nursery and Reception with daily learning activities
*
Assisting with play-based learning, early phonics, language and numeracy
*
Working with small groups or individual children under teacher direction
*
Supporting children’s social, emotional and behavioural development
*
Helping children settle into routines and build confidence and independence
*
Preparing learning resources and supporting classroom organisation
*
Maintaining a safe, nurturing and inclusive Early Years environment
What You’ll Bring
*
Experience working with young children (school, nursery, childcare or similar)
*
A calm, patient and nurturing approach
*
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
*
Reliability, flexibility and a proactive attitude
*
A genuine interest in early childhood development
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant / Early Years qualifications are welcome but not essential.
Pay Structure
*
Teaching Assistant: from £13.70 per hour
