Remedy Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Lewisham. This is a fantastic full-time, long-term opportunity for an EYFS Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting young children at the very start of their learning journey.
The successful EYFS Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils across the Early Years Foundation Stage, providing high-quality classroom support, 1:1 assistance, and small-group work. This role also includes some PPA cover when the class teacher is out of the classroom, making it ideal for an EYFS Teaching Assistant who is confident and proactive.
EYFS Teaching Assistant - Key Responsibilities:
Support teaching and learning across the EYFS as an EYFS Teaching Assistant Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils Assist with planning, preparation, and delivery of engaging EYFS activities Cover the class during PPA time when required as an EYFS Teaching Assistant Support children's personal, social, and emotional development Promote positive behaviour and a nurturing learning environment Help assess progress and contribute to observations and records Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents Maintain a safe, inclusi...
