EYFS Teaching Assistant – Kingsbury, Brent (Level 2/3 Required)

Location: Primary School in Kingsbury (London Borough of Brent)
Hours: Monday to Friday, typically 8:30 am – 3:45 pm
Contract: Full-time, Term-Time Only
Pay Rate: £90 - £110+ per day (Depending on experience and qualifications)

This is an urgent requirement for a passionate practitioner to join their vibrant Early Years team immediately.

The Role

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in the first steps of a child’s educational journey. You will work closely with the Reception class teacher to create a stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment where children can learn through play and guided activities.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the delivery of the EYFS Framework.

Assisting with observations and tracking the development of key children.

*

Leading small group activities in phonics, literacy, and numeracy.

*

Supporting indoor and outdoor play-based learning.

*

Providing personal care and ensuring the well-being of all pupils.

Requirements

We are looking for motivated individuals who truly enjoy the energy of Early Years education.

Qualifications: You must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent).

*

Experience: Previous experience working within an EYFS setting (School or Nursery).

*

SEND Knowledge: Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs is a significant advantage.

*

Attributes: Reliability, a "muck-in" attitude, and a genuine passion for early childhood development.
