ABC Teachers are seeking experienced Early Years Teaching Assistants to work in an SEN School in Bromsgrove on a full-time temporary-permanent basis.

To support the teaching and learning of children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), contributing to a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment in which children are supported to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

About the Role:

Work collaboratively with the class teacher and EYFS team to deliver high-quality learning experiences aligned with the EYFS curriculum. Provide individual or small group support, including for children with SEND, EAL, or additional needs. Promote children’s learning through play-based and child-initiated experiences. Observe, assess, and record children’s progress using agreed tools and contribute to learning journals/online systems (e.g., Tapestry). Support the implementation of individual learning plans (IEPs/EHCPs) where appropriate. Help maintain a welcoming, stimulating, and well-organised learning environment both indoors and outdoors. Communicate effectively with parents/carers, sharing information about children’s achievements and wellbeing.
