A leading façade contractor with offices in London who specialise in manufacturing and installing glazing, cladding, and metalwork products to the construction industry are looking for a facade estimator to join the team. Key Responsibilities: Estimating & Tendering · Analyse tender documents, drawings and specifications · Perform accurate measured take-offs and scope breakdowns · Prepare cost estimates including materials, labour, plant, preliminaries, design, testing, warranties and risk allowances · Produce structured pricing schedules, BOQs, clarifications, assumptions and exclusions · Identify value-engineering opportunities and alternative compliant proposals · Prepare high-quality tender submissions and ensure timely delivery · Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings where required Bid & Client Interface · Prepare written tender narratives where required · Manage tender clarifications and addendums · Support negotiations and issue revised pricing or Best & Final Offers to clients with support from Senior member of staff Supply Chain & Procurement Engagement · Prepare enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors · Assess and compare quotations for compliance and competitiveness · Coordinate pricing with procurement and maintain strong supplier relationships
