We are seeking a skilled Fabric Engineer (Passive Fire Technician) to join a small, dedicated team responsible for maintaining and repairing fire doors and building fabric within a commercial environment.

This role involves completing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive works, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering services, adhering to Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements and company procedures.

​You will be expected to maintain accurate documentation, respond promptly to help desk requests, and support the wider engineering team in both proactive and reactive tasks.

Key Responsibilities

* Complete PPM and reactive works on fire doors and associated building fabric.

* Ensure compliance with engineering standards and Health & Safety regulations.

* Inspect and repair floor, wall, and ceiling coverings, furniture, doors, windows, and fixtures.

* Carry out minor installation work and redecorating tasks as required.

* Support the engineering team with general tasks and contingency measures.
