We’re recruiting for an experienced Fabric Technician to join a well-established facilities team covering sites across Dundee and the North East of Scotland.

If you’re a hands-on maintenance professional who takes pride in high standards and wants a role without the pressure of an on-call rota, this could be a great opportunity.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality building fabric maintenance across a portfolio of commercial sites. This is a mobile role, working across multiple locations, ensuring buildings remain safe, compliant and well presented.

Typical duties will include:

General building repairs and maintenance

*

Joinery works (doors, locks, ironmongery, fixtures)

*

Minor plumbing repairs

*

Basic painting and decorating

*

Flooring and ceiling tile repairs

*

Supporting small project works and refurbishments

*

Identifying defects and reporting remedial requirements

*

Working closely with engineers and site teams to maintain standards

You’ll be trusted to manage your workload efficiently while maintaining excellent communication with clients and colleagues.

What We’re Looking For

*

Previous experience in a Fabric Technician / Building Maintenance role

*

Strong all-round building fabric knowledge

*

Experience working in commercial or FM environments

*

Ability to work independently across multiple sites

*

Full UK driving licence

A trade background (joinery or similar) would be advantageous.
