Job Description

Overview\nMy client is a leading supplier of steel frames for industrial, commercial and residential buildings across the UK. Due to continued demand, they are looking for a skilled Fabricator/ Welder to join their team in Edinburgh. You will be working on a variety of fabrication projects, producing high-quality metal components and structures to specification.\nThe Details:\n * Hours: 50 hours per week, 6 days over 7 (Monday–Saturday)\n * Shifts: dayshift\n * Location: Edinburgh\n * Contractual rate: £14.00–£16.50 per hour, depending on experience.\n * Contract: Permanent\nKey responsibilities include:\n * Perform MIG welding\n * Fabricate components according to specifications and drawings\n * Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively\n * Conduct assembly tasks to ensure product integrity\n * Inspect finished products for quality assurance\n * Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety\n * Collaborate with team members to meet production goals\nAbout You:\n * Proven experience as a fabricator/ welder, minimum 3 years\n * Competent in MIG welding\n * Able to read and interpret fabrication drawings\n * Good attention to detail and pride in your work\n * Reliable, punctual, and hardworking\n * Health & safety conscious\nWhat We Offer:\n * Competitive contractual rate of £14.00–£16.50 per hour, depending on experience.\n * Overtime opportunities\n * Steady workload with varied projects\n * Friendly, supportive working environment\n * Opportunity to grow with the company\nThis role is ideal for dedicated individuals seeking to apply their fabrication/welding skills within a professional setting.
