Facade Manager – Edinburgh\nImmediate Start | Freelance & Permanent Opportunities | Long-Term Work\n\nWe are currently seeking an experienced Facade Manager for projects based in Edinburgh, with an immediate start available. This opportunity offers both freelance and permanent positions, with long-term work secured.\n\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing façade packages from pre-construction through installation and handover, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Managing day-to-day façade installation works on site\n\n * Coordinating subcontractors including curtain walling, brickwork, cladding, glazing and envelope trades\n\n * Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and sequencing requirements\n\n * Overseeing quality control and façade inspections\n\n * Managing health & safety for façade activities\n\n * Liaising with design teams, consultants, and main contractor\n\n * Reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical details\n\n * Monitoring progress and reporting to senior management\n\n * Managing logistics, deliveries, and access requirements\n\n * Overseeing testing, commissioning, and handover of façade packages\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Proven experience as a Facade Manager\n\n * Strong background delivering curtain walling / cladding packages\n\n * Experience managing full building envelope installations\n\n * Ability to read and interpret technical façade drawings\n\n * Knowledge of QA processes and façade compliance requirements\n\n * Strong coordination and communication skills\n\n * SMSTS or SSSTS \n\n * CSCS Card required\n\nWhat’s on Offer:\n\n * Immediate start\n\n * Freelance and permanent opportunities available\n\n * Long-term pipeline of work\n\n * Competitive rates / salary (DOE)\n\n * Edinburgh-based projects\n\n * Opportunity with a busy and growing contractor\n\nTo apply, please send your CV or contact us directly for a confidential discussion
