Facade Site Manager – Edinburgh We are currently seeking an experienced Facade Site Manager to join a large-scale construction project based in Edinburgh. This is a long-term opportunity, offering a 2-year project duration with an immediate start available. The project involves the delivery of a complex building envelope package, and the successful candidate will play a key role in managing, coordinating, and delivering all façade-related works to programme and quality standards. Project Scope Includes: * Traditional and modern brickwork systems * Metal cladding and rainscreen systems * Windows, curtain walling, and glazing * External framing and support structures * Coordination of façade interfaces with other trades Key Responsibilities: * Full day-to-day management of façade activities on site * Management and coordination of façade subcontractors and labour * Working closely with the main contractor, project management team, and design consultants * Monitoring progress against programme and driving works to meet key milestones * Ensuring all façade works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and quality requirements * Managing inspections, quality checks, snagging, and handover of façade elements * Ensuring strict adherence to health & safety standards and site procedures * Maintaining accurate site records, reports, and documentation Candidate Requirements: * Demonstrable experience in a Facade Site Manager or similar role * Background within a facade subcontractor environment is highly desirable, although candidates from a main contractor background will also be considered * Strong technical knowledge of façade systems, sequencing, and buildability * Ability to manage multiple work fronts and subcontractors simultaneously * SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) * Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills What’s on Offer: * 2-year project based in Edinburgh * Competitive rate or salary, dependent on experience * Long-term, stable workload on a high-profile scheme * Immediate start for the right candidate If you are a motivated and experienced Facade Site Manager looking for a long-term role on a major Edinburgh project, please apply with your CV or get in touch for further information
