Facilities Maintenance Supervisor\n\nLocation: West Central London\n Salary: £47,300 per annum\n Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week\n\nAre you an experienced Facilities Maintenance professional looking for your next challenge? \n\nWe are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to join a prestigious cultural institution in West Central London. This is a key role within the Buildings and Facilities team, responsible for managing in-house maintenance contractors and ensuring the smooth operation of engineering services across the site.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nReporting directly to the Technical Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day management of Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health (ME&P) services through a team of approximately 20 maintenance professionals.

Your responsibilities will include:\n\nEnsuring environmental conditions and associated plant are maintained to the highest standards.\nCoordinating replacement engineering items and system upgrades with key stakeholders.\nDriving efficiency and sustainability through plant selection and energy reduction strategies.\nManaging budgets and providing monthly financial reports.Key Responsibilities\n\nFull management of ME&P maintenance contracts and minor works projects.\nLiaison with internal teams and contractors to minimise disruption and maintain safety standards.\nChair weekly operational meetings and monthly progress reviews, ensuring KPIs are met.\nOversee health and safety compliance, including reviewing risk assessments and method statements.\nMaintain and update asset registers and ensure accurate documentation for tendering processes.\nContribute to long-term planning, including 5- and 10-year plant replacement strategies.What We're Looking For\n\nQualifications: HNC or equivalent in a mechanical or electrical discipline.\nTechnical Expertise: Strong knowledge of engineering services, environmental conditions, and energy efficiency strategies.\nLeadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and motivate a team of maintenance professionals.\nCommunication: Excellent written and verbal skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.\nProblem-Solving: A systematic approach to delivering safe, efficient, and cost-effective solutions.Why Join Us?\n\nThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a unique environment where your expertise will help preserve and maintain a world-class facility.
