Facilities & Maintenance Technician

My client is seeking a Facilities/Maintenance Technician to ensure that buildings, plant, and equipment remain safe, reliable, compliant, and fully operational, while minimising downtime, risk, and cost across the workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver scheduled PPM and reactive maintenance across allocated sites.
Work safely and follow all compliance and Health & Safety guidelines.
Build strong relationships with colleagues.
Accurately update and close jobs
Assess and complete requests efficiently.
Order and collect materials as needed for repair tasks
Job Related Skills
General building fabric maintenance e.g. Basic Joinery, Painting, Basic plumbing and minor floor repairs
Maintain clear and accurate documentation.
Fault finding on all types of machinery
Provide Electrical and Mechanical expertise to the business working on Heavy Industrial Machines.
Liaise with onsite colleagues to understand related issues, responding confidently and accurately as required
Identify issues beyond repair, undertake survey and escalate with recommendations.
Work collaboratively with the wider team to uphold site standards.
Perform ad hoc duties as and when required
