Facilities Manager

Key responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of building maintenance, including structural, cosmetic, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems within the hangars.
Implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimise equipment downtime.
Ensure compliance with government regulations, including Fire Safety Regulations.
Work with procurement to manage and negotiate contracts, assist with ITTs, and engage with sub-contractors for specialist works.
Supervise and escort sub-contractors as required to ensure quality completion of works.
Develop and manage annual financial budgets, track utility expenses, and justify capital expenditure for major projects.
Support sustainability initiatives, monitor energy consumption, and implement green practices.
Take responsibility for security of company facilities, including personnel security.
Undertake any other adhoc duties aligned with Facilities and HSE team objectives.
Knowledge and skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Ability to research regulations relevant to facilities management.
General knowledge of building works, heating, ventilation, and electrical systems is desirable.
About you:
Organised approach to work with strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to clearly communicate with staff about facilities management impact.
Able to manage sub-contractors effectively and insist on high-quality completion of work.
Additional requirements:
DBS and SC clearance required.
Compliance with Export Control Regulations.
Legal right to work in the UK; sponsorship not available.
