Job Description Building Manager / Facilities Manager / Project Manager \n\nLocation: Battersea, London\n\nSalary: £40,000 per annum\n\n \n\nProperty Portfolio: \n134 high-end residential flats \nLuxury private gym \n 2 commercial offices\n\n Role Overview \n\n \n\nWe are seeking an experienced andhighly professional Building / Facilites / Project Manager to oversee the day-to day operations of a prestigious residential and mixed use development in Battersea.\n\nThis is a clientfacing role requiring exceptional communication skills, strong organisational ability, and confidence when dealing with residents and directors with the highest standards.The successful candidate will act as the central point of contact between residents, directors, the property management team, contractors, and service providers.\n\n Key Responsibilities \n\n Building Facilities Management \n\nOversee the smooth day to day operation of the building, ensuring the highest standards of presentation, safety, and \nfunctionality \nManage all hard and soft services, including cleaning, maintenance, security, systems, and \nwaste management \nEnsure full compliance with health & safety legislation, fire safety, and statutory \nrequirements \nConduct regular site inspections and proactively identify issues before they escalate\n\n Stakeholder Liaison \n\nAct as the main point of contact for residents, responding to queries and concerns professional and efficiently \nConfidently manage relationships with residents who expect exceptional service and attention to detail\n\nLiaise closely with the directors, providing clear communication, updates, and professional advice \nWork collaboratively with the appointed Property Management firm\n\n Project Management \n\nManage and deliver building-related projects, refurbishments, and improvement works \nOversee contractors, ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high \nstandard \nPrepare project plans, schedules, and reports as required \nMonitor contractor performance and enforce service level agreements\n\n Financial & Administrative Duties \n\nAssist with budgeting, and cost control \nApprove invoices and monitor expenditure in line with agreed budgets \nMaintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation\n\n Skills Experience Required \n\nProven experience in a Building Manager, Facilities Manager, or Project Manager role (ideally within residential or mixed-use developments) \nConfident and professional communicator, comfortable dealing with high-net worth residents and senior stakeholders \nStrong organisational and problem-solving skills \nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment \nExperience managing contractors and service providers \nGood understanding of UK health & safety and building compliance requirements \nCalm, assertive, and solutions-focused approach\n\n Personal Attributes \n\nHighly professional and well-presented \nDetail-oriented with a commitment to excellence \nProactive, reliable, and accountable \nConfident handling challenging conversations with diplomacy and tact\n\n \n\n*  As a boutique agency, Colville Search receives a high volume of applications and unfortunaty, we are unable to respond to each one individually. If you are already registered with us, please feel free to reach out directly to your consultant for updates or to discuss a specific role. \n\n
