Facility Broker - Energy and Power

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Energy team at Marsh as a Facility Broker. This role will be based in Norwich however will include frequent travel to London. This is a hybrid position with a requirement to work at least three days a week in the office.

As a Facility Broker, you will work closely with the lead broker across all Energy and Power facilities, supporting the end‑to‑end management of facility placements. You will play a key role in producing and maintaining facility overviews, preparing summaries, managing data and documentation, and ensuring that our facilities operate smoothly and efficiently. This role offers exposure to a broad range of clients, lines of business and markets, and provides an excellent foundation for progression within broking.
We will count on you to:
- Assist the lead broker with the day‑to‑day management of all facilities within the Energy, Power and Renewables portfolio.
- Prepare and update facility overviews, summaries and presentation materials for internal stakeholders, markets and clients.
- Maintain accurate facility data, including limits, aggregates, premiums, participation, endorsements and renewal information.
- Support the production and maintenance of documentation, including slips, endorsements, binders and reporting schedules, in line with market and internal requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather information and ensure timely completion of administrative tasks related to facilities.
- Assist with the collation and analysis of facility MI and data to support reporting, pricing reviews and renewal strategies.
- Help track facility utilisation and performance, supporting the lead broker in identifying trends, issues and opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity across systems and spreadsheets, adhering to Marsh's quality and compliance standards.
- Build effective working relationships with colleagues, underwriters and other stakeholders, representing the facility team professionally.
What you need to have:
- Experience in insurance or a related financial services/administrative role, preferably within the London market.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy when working with data and documents.
- Good Excel and general IT skills, with the ability to handle and reconcile data from multiple sources.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence preparing summaries, reports and documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- A collaborative mindset, with willingness to support the wider team and learn from experienced brokers.
What makes you stand out?
- Previous experience supporting brokers, underwriters or client teams, ideally within Energy, Power or other specialty lines.
- Familiarity with facilities, binders or delegated authority arrangements in the London market.
- Progress toward relevant insurance qualifications (e.g. Cert CII/ACII) or interest in working toward them.
- Comfort working with large datasets and producing clear, concise summaries and MI for stakeholders.
