Factory Operative

We are currently recruiting Factory Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing company on the outskirts of Cambridge.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with experience in production who take pride in quality, hygiene, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate machinery and equipment to produce products in line with company standards.

Ensure hygiene, and quality procedures are always followed.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to “clean as you go” policies.

Complete all relevant production and quality control paperwork accurately and on time.

Monitor equipment, reporting any faults or issues to the Production Manager.

Support daily production schedules, preparing for upcoming runs as required.

Take part in company training to improve skills and knowledge in food manufacturing.

Assist and support team members where needed to ensure production goals are achieved.

Skills / Experience

Previous exposure to a factory / production environment.

Understanding of safety, and quality control procedures.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work efficiently to meet targets relating to output, yield, and waste.

Reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.

Flexibility.

Hours & Pay:

Monday to Friday

07:30 until 17:00

Flexibility required

£13.00 per hour

OT to be paid at an enhanced rate
