Senior Solicitor/Associate – Family Law Solicitor

Located: Hastings, East Sussex

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Solicitor to join a thriving legal practice. This role is ideal for a legal professional with a primary focus on family law and proven expertise in areas such as divorce, financial matters, and children proceedings.

You will be able to:

• Manage your own client caseload, delivering high-quality legal advice across a range of family law matters
• Provide guidance on divorce, financial settlements and children proceedings
• Liaise with administrative teams to ensure seamless service delivery
• Undertake advocacy work and represent clients effectively
• Support the development of the Family Law Department
• Collaborate with marketing efforts to support the practice’s growth strategy
• Develop and cultivate new client relationships in Hastings and surrounding areas

Key Responsibilities

• Offering expert legal advice with a commitment to best practices
• Ensuring effective management of client files and deadlines
• Embracing and learning cloud-based Case Management Systems and digital dictation software
• Supporting the team and liaising with other departments as needed
• Leading and completing special projects as required

About You

• At least five years of proven experience in family law
• Strong professional qualifications in relevant legal areas
• Exceptional organizational and team management skills
• Flexibility to manage new projects efficiently and meet objectives
• A client-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills
• A willingness to embrace innovative legal technologies
