A well-established and respected Portsmouth law firm is looking for an Experienced Family Solicitor to relaunch and lead their Family Law department. You'll have the freedom to set the direction, the resources to grow it, and a clear path to Partnership. Lead with autonomy
Take ownership of a varied caseload across matrimonial, divorce, ancillary relief, children matters, and separation agreements. Represent clients in court and work closely with Counsel, mediators, and other professionals. Drive the department's growth through business development and strong client relationships. Collaborate with other teams to unlock opportunities and strengthen the firm's offering.
Bring your experience
Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 5 years PQE in Family Law. Confident managing cases and a team without micromanagement. Strong advocacy, drafting, and negotiation skills with a commercial approach. A track record of meeting targets and building lasting client trust. Willing to travel occasionally to other local offices.
