Job Opportunity: Family Law Solicitor

Location: Glasgow

Overview:

A fantastic opportunity for a Family Law Solicitor to join a busy Glasgow team. You’ll manage a varied caseload including divorce, child law, adoption, surrogacy, complex finances and pre-/post-nuptial agreements. Litigation and alternative dispute resolution are both part of the role, giving you the chance to work on complex matters while building trusted client relationships.

Role Requirements:

Manage your own caseload, provide practical legal advice, represent clients in Sheriff Court and Court of Session, draft and negotiate agreements, mentor junior colleagues and support business development.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ PQE in family law

• Experience in Court of Session litigation

• Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload independently

Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Commercial awareness with a solutions-focused approach

• Collaborative and approachable, able to build trusted client relationships
